It worked fine for many years and one day it just quit. It only pulled cold water, even with settings on HOT or WARM, always pulled cold water. What could be wrong?
Sorry this answer is about 1 month late, but in case you're still having the issue, it is likely due to 1 of 2 possibilities (or combination of both).
Most likely, the small inlet screen, located on the back, (where the hot water hose enters the machine) is clogged. This is a common problem that restricts the flow of hot water into the machine.
To check or clean this, just unscrew the hot water hose where it enters the washer. It sits just inside that fitting.
The other possibility is a bad or clogged inlet valve. The inlet valve controls the flow of hot and cold water into the machine. It is opened and closed via an electric solenoid (part of the intake valve unit).
The inlet valve is the same unit that houses the screen I previously mentioned, and is just inside the back panel of the washer, where the two inlet hoses thread onto.

first make sure the hoses aren't reversed hot on cold or cold on hot next turn off cold water remove the hose from the washer and check to see if the screen on the washer is clogged if not get a bucket turn on cold water and see how strong the water is then let me know what you find dont rate me till we are done

Littleone.. please check your instructions.. some washers now dont need Hot water connection to them...they heat their own as part of the efficiency settings on the wash programmes themselves!

There is a solenoid control valve on all washing machines, located where the water hoses enter the machine. If you have a rubber mallet, you can whack the machine gently with the mallet. If the problem is resolved, it was just a stuck valve. If not, then you likely will need to replace the whole solenoid valve control. Typically there are controls for each water supply.
