unplug machine. you will need to remove the cover. careful for the capacitor. usually after not running for an hour or so the capacitor will completely discharge on its own. looking at the back of the control board, you ill see a small round, usually black cylindrical part about 1/2 inch high with a hole in it. cover the hole with a couple small pieces of duct tape. this will mute the daylights out of it. to eliminate sound completely you will need to unsolder this part..

From what you have described you would like to mute the sound on your Frigidaire microwave, FFCM0934LS. I have researched your microwave and I was unable to any instructions on how to mute your sound. Unfortunately you are unable to perform that operation on your microwave. I have 2 possible solutions for you.
1) press and hold the 0 button for 3 seconds. This may only turn the clock display on or off, but may also mute or unmute the beeps.
2) unplug the unit for 30 seconds to a minute. Plug it back in and it should be reset.

Unplug the microwave for 15 seconds than plug back in. It should be back to normal then.
