When using program 6, the time stated is 2:29 and after two minutes it stops and shows F8 and E1
E1 error ... a flood has been detected by the sensor and F8 is another associated electrical fault probable due to water damage ?

F8 code means that washer has not emptied out fully. Open the door,empty water manually, clear the filters and the drains. Close the door and then hold the start button,until it will restart. Good luck !

E1 IS TIMEOUT CODE I WOULD CHECK FOR WATER SUPPLY, KINKED FILL HOSE FIRST, CHECK CONNECTED TO COLD SUPPLY AS HOT MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH PRESSURE. IF ANY DOUBT ABOUT WATER SUPPLY/PRESSURE TAKE HOSE OF M/C END AND RUN INTO A BUCKET GOOD LUCK.

Hi girijyo,
F8 means you have a blockage in your drainage pipe, try cleaning all the filters and the drains, then closed it up, held the start button until it restarted. let us know if this works.
