Internal or external snap rings usually require a special pair of pliers to remove. In absence, you might try a very pointed pair of needle nose pliers or even a pair of dental tools or similar. Once the ring begins to dislodge from its groove you should be able to work it out. Reinstallation might require the specific tool.

Compression on 150bt blower from factory

Any 2 cycle engine must have 90 PSI or higher to run. Typically a new engine will read around 100 - 120 PSI with Gage on and pulling rope 3-4 times.

Why won't my Husqvarna 150 BT blower shut off? It starts and runs great, but won't kill with the switch.

Kill switch most likely has broken wire between switch and engine. When in "kill" position, it should connect the top of the sparkplug to the rest of the engine. If it doesn't, either the switch is bad or the wire is.

Why is it failing?

open gas cap and see if it will run again. m,any times the gas tank vents clog and the engine can't draw gas after a few minutes.
another thought is the oil mixture.. 50:1 with oil made for air cooled engines....not boat engine oil

Pull the muffler and look for scoring on the piston. I think you cooked it my friend. You may have a bad coil or fuel cap, but it's more likely you ran the mix too lean.

Hello i have husqvarna 150bt 1st problem was the pull start wasn't working removed and was able to rotate shaft with ratchet so i lube it with wd-40 and now fine 2nd problem wont start. removed carb....

Spray some starting fluid into the open throttle and see if it instantly fires. If so, it is fuel or lines, filter, quality, quantity. Water in the fuel, many other factors can play a part. If it won't start with fluid, then the ignition is your weak link. If it is a champion plug, toss it. A wet plug won't fire either, even with gas.
More than likely, it is fuel delivery... still starting fluid is #1 tool.
