1988 ford ranger back breaks wont bleed but front ones will

Your lines are lugged, or the brake master cylinder is plugged. Clean master first, then lines. If thta doesn't work yourbake cylinders need cleaning/rebuilding. Dirt couses lots of non bleeding problems.

Clutch wont allow me to shift gears while driving changed everything new pressure plate throw out bearing the works bleed it several times

pump the blank out of it....i have had to pump one of these new clutchs 100or more times to get it to bleed right...and yes i am saying just sit there and pump the clutch so what do you have to loose besides a couple of pounds....have a happy new year

What is the Firing order for my 1988 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9L

1,4,2,5,3,6. clockwise. Standing in front of engine,Looking at front clip to hold cap on, 5,2,4 would be order from right of clip, back to rear hold clip. On left of clip, 3,6,1 would be order from front to rear clip.

Trouble Bleeding Break Line

you need to hold in the metering valve.when you bleed the front brakes.long as the valve closed off you wont be able to bleed front brakes.better to get extra help.hard to bleed by your self .

use the bleeder plug and if it is not working right then just pump the clutch til ur leg falls off i have did this before lol
