Google "Mongoose serial number" or "Mongoose IBOC" and do your own research. As for value, check ebay for sold listing or craigslist for what people are asking for the same type of bike. It's worth what someone will pay for it, which varies widely.

Personally, here in AUS bikes brought from Wallmart type department stores are very general purpose, meaning not professional, so the price doesn't hold in fact depreciates quite quickly so if you want to know for selling purposes than ask google, eBay, Amazon with words like used whether or not it has been, like unwanted gifts.

If I had to guess I'de say anywhere between $60 and $90 at best, but please feel free to do your own investigation and good luck.

Condition and appearance are important. If its in top condition it will be worth more than a junked out one. I usually buy this bike for about $ 25, then repair or tune it up and resell it for about $ 45. But that's my area. The same bike in Chicago will bring about 75-100 in full working order.

I would suggest going back through the seller and exchange the bike for the one that had the spec you are looking for. They can contact their distributor and take care of things on their end.

The manufacture line ( i work in the industry) will be, that components may change with availability, and that your bike came with an "equivilant value" crank. If you want to return you will need to contact the seller. Pacific Cycle is the parent company for Mongoose and several other brands, while they do manufacture all issues will still be handled on the mongoose side, and if not they will give you the appropriate numbers/ emails of who to contact.

Hi, yes, it's happened sometimes, to all electrical heating appliances, yes all heating elements, sooner or later will burnt out. better quality ones, will last longer, but will burnt out too, always replace with original (FSP) factory specification parts, from manufacturer.

There are some thermal fuses located near the heating element, on the outside of the heating element housing, or some of them have the fuses on the blower housing. Check the element by ohming it out with a meter, if open, replace element. The dryer needs to have an un-obstructed air exhaust shorter then 15 feet from the dryer to vent properly when drying clothes.

i dont think you can......because these bikes are made for confort at a cheap price..........

higher value bikes can be adjusted....they have special shocks and you can adjust on either soft or stiff ride.....
