SOURCE: Keep getting disconnectied

Look for a hardware update that you can download to your computer, then upload to your router. Other things you could try is unplugging the router overnight, pressing the reset button for 30 seconds, or setting it back to factory defaults in the settings. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: monitor displaying 'check signal cable'

Make sure the refresh rate is set at 60 hertz before using the new monitor also check the display settings to see if they are set to use the external display also. Yours may automaticaly do this and your partners may not. If this does not help please let me know the type of notebook and monitor. Good Luck!

you have a battery power drain.  Remove one fuse at a time until you find which circuit it's in.  This will take a while but it will find the problem and it's free.

How to I reprogramme the main answer message on the avaya 9620

Hello there,

As an aside, I hope you are not referring to Voicemail which is a different thing entirely/

Avaya 9620 is an IP only Phone. This means it CAN ONLY be connected to an IP Phone system.
Excerpts from guide
'Which systems can you connect your telephone to?
This telephone is intended solely for connecting to Avaya communication servers. '
'These telephones are intended for connection to Ethernet/LAN interfaces of IP-capable Avaya telecommunications systems
and fulfill the basic requirements of Directive 1999/5/EU (R&TTE)'
'The design of these telephones makes them unsuitable for direct operation on interfaces of public telecommunications networks'

All this means is that you cannot connect your phone direct to a normal Telephone line.

Please read the beginnning of the guide here.
http://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100077496

So , it looks to me that there used to be ONE telephone system for your two Companies and now you have split up, NO ONE appears to be taking responsibility for programming the AVAYA Phone system to which your telephone is connected. It MUST be somewhere in the building !!!
Try and find it. IT will be here that the answerphone facility is programmed....definitely NOT your phone.

I received a Bushnell 5-day forecaster last year. It has worked perfectly until several weeks ago - it now shows 'network lost...try another location'. It started working a few days ago...and now it's back...

I have very briefly researched the device and find it isn't really a forecaster but a device that receives weather reports and sorts them but it isn't made clear how it accesses those Accuweather reports that are available by smartphone app or internet.
I speculate the device must either use any wireless local area network or it must access the mobile telephone network, which makes little sense as it is supposed to be a free service and mobile internet service providers usually wouldn't give anyone free access.

Perhaps the answer will be found in the device instruction manual.

If it is supposed to work through free access to the mobile telephone network, perhaps the cause is the service providers are flexing their muscles. There was some feeling a few years ago the Accuweather reports should be removed from the public domain and perhaps this is the beginning of a resurgence of that feeling.

I have a callpilot 100/150 we acquired an add-on

First thing, the Call Pilot is your voicemail, not your telephone system. Your telephone system is most likely a Norstar CICs unit.

If the lines(trunks) are analog, it is the local telco provider that is handing out your caller ID.

Outgoing caller ID is not one of the features of the system for analog circuits. If you were running a PRI or BRI, then the system can hand out the caller ID. I would ask your telco provider to check the outgoing caller ID once again.

Outgoing errors

Hi

Try and check if your settings on the barring calls is on, maybe you put it on by mistake, but also you need a code or password for it to effect.

Also check if your fixed dial settings are on they also have an effect on that.

Your network can be the problem. Try and call your telephone service provider customer care, its free
