Can I unlock the region code
This is maybe because there are some region code limits for your player, rather than because of your laptop.
You can download some region free players on your laptop and region free players can play dvd of any region code.You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a region free player and a free Blu-ray player and DVD player.

Go to www.videohelp.com enter your machine's model number, hit search, then scroll down and look to your right- If there is a region free hack for it they will have it...If it is a new model, you might want to check back with them in a month.
