Whirlpool uses the same manual for many of their ranges. The Self-Clean Cycle is marked with an asterix because it is only available on some ranges using that manual. Looking at the support page for the WFC150M0EB0, there is a good close-up picture of the control panel for the range. There is no Self-Clean touch pad button on the left hand side of the control panel. Thus your range doesn't include the feature. The Self-Clean would be in line between the Bake/Broil buttons and Control Lock button.
We are very sorry to hear this and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We would be glad to look into this if you could email us at [email protected] with your name, address, phone number and the model & serial numbers of the Range.
I can't find a range with the model number of XFE371LVQXFE3. Whirlpool has a XFE371LVQ here: http://www.whirlpool.com/-[WFE371LVQ]-1020812/WFE371LVQ/ . The Use & Care Guide and Installation Guide are available on this page (under the Manuals & Literature tab). The direct link to Use & Care Guide is http://www.whirlpool.com/digitalassets/WFE371LVQ/Use%20and%20Care_EN.pdf .
I hope this helps. If you have a different model, please add a comment with the corrected model number.
I suspect the heating element might have burned out - does the broiler work? If "broil" works but "bake" doesn't, then replace the lower heating element.
turn the gass off
find the gas valve on the back wall
unscrew the top
and replace the top with the part from the kit
if you have orrifices you will need to replace those
they go straight down the center of the burner
