Look for edit or settings push that you should see lines next to your messages touch the one you want a symbol like a trash can should show up touch it and it should be removed. Mine is edit then edit all I touch it and remove all shows up. This will help you.

Trash would be anything that you delete that comes from people you get email from. Junk would be like junk mail...unwanted or spam emails. Usually junk/spam email deletes instantly so you cannot retrieve it if you make a mistake. Trash usually deletes in 30 days. Some email servers allow you to change those settings as well

On my phone in the g mail there a undo button. Press this and the deleted email will come back

Open your mail file and choose "select all" then press DELETE key.
ALL the emails selected should be deleted all at once. It may take a while.
THEN go to TRASH folder and be sure all items in the trash are deleted.

try to highlight the email you want to delete and press shift+delete this will permanently delete the email.

If this solution works that means your trash folder is already corrupted.

You might want to use different email client like Eudora, MS Office Outlook, Thunderbird.
