SOURCE: Whirlpool Refrigerator(side by side) leaking water

First question would be is your ice machine leaking? If so then disable the ice machine until we can find the cause of leaks and repair them. Is the freezer freezing well? Food compartment temps OK?. Let me know and I will work to help you resolve this. Sea Breeze sea [email protected]

SOURCE: my ge refrigerator leaks water

During defrost cycle, the water produced is suppose to drain away through a small drain hole located behind the racks in the freezer section where you'll need to remove the rear panel to see the drain hole. This hole it very likely clogged.
Be careful to unplug the refrigerator before doing any work on it!

SOURCE: My refrigerator leaks water from the inside

Your refrigerator has a drain that leads to the exterior drain pan beneath the refrigerator. Occasionally this drain can become clogged resulting in standing water inside your refrigerator. A similar drain exists in the freezer, which when clogged results in ice build up on the floor of the freezer.

The drain is located either on the floor of the refrigerator, beneath the vegetable crisper, or in the wall behind a drain funnel.

Clear the drain by forcing a solution of water and bleach or water and baking soda into it with a basting syringe. If the solution will not flow through, slide a length of ¼ inch flexible tubing into the drain tube to push the clog through to the drain pan. Remove the tubing after clearing the clog.

NOTE-(This may be a leveling issue as well)

It is important for the refrigerator to be level. If it is not level, doors may not open or close properly and may not seal tightly. Also, drainage from the defrost cycle might be impaired as might the ice making cycle. The appliance was engineered based on it being installed in a level position. While there may be some tolerance for out-of-level installation, the appliance will operate at its best when properly leveled.

Place a level on top of the refrigerator near the front. Do not put it on the door because the door may not be aligned with the refrigerator case. Check that the refrigerator is level from side to side. Next turn the level to check that it is level from front to back.

If it is not level, adjust one or more of the adjustable leveling feet until it is level. The feet are bolts that can be turned to raise or lower the refrigerator. If they cannot be adjusted with your fingers, use a crescent wrench or pliers.

If you have an ice-maker, it should also be checked for level after first leveling the refrigerator. An ice-maker that is out of level will spill water into the ice bin or into the freezer. It can be repositioned by loosening the mounting screws, adjusting it for level and then re-tightening the screws.

SOURCE: water leaking from the bottom of my conquest refrigerator

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

I have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator Model 106 9552911 and at times water just keeps running and overflows the ice maker and onto the floor. If I shut the water supply off for a few minutes and then...

Back bottom of fridge is the water selonoid with a plug on it. If you have an electric meter check power on that when it calls for more water, if it has power for about 10 seconds and stops but water still flows then that selonoid is bad if not then ice maker water timer wheel might not be hitting the switch.

Water not draining out

typically this problem is caused by a relay selonoid located at the output hose of the water pump. You will need to remove enough of the outside cover to see the water pump. The valve that is connected to the selonoid will be visible - and you can place the machine on the drain portion of the wash cycle and you will see that the selonoid does not operate. It can be removed (2 or 3 screws) - and a new one installed. That should cure your issue.

Ice crusher don't work

Hi, It sounds like the selonoid that shifts the auger is not working. This part is located behind the panel that the bucket pushes against. The little wire arm on the bucket goes into this. Sometimes they just get froze up from the moister. If you remove the panel/section the selonoid is in, you can see if the part has went bad.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know If I can assist you further.

Water flow to my model 600 seems to be too quick. It splashes all over inside my furnace duct and over fills the drain causing water to run all over the floor. Could this be a bad selonoid?

It is not likely to be caused by the selonoid valve. The selonoid is designed to be either open or closed, so if the unit is calling for humidity, it should be 100% open allowing as much water as possible to flow through. In cases of a bad selonoid, it will usually stick open or stick closed, but I have never heard of one allowing too much water through. Check to make sure your drain is clear and that the incoming line to the humidifier is positioned properly on the inside of the unit. If this doesn't solve the problem, it could be that the water line to the humidifier is too large, allowing more flow than the unit is designed for.
