SOURCE: Kitchen Aid Superba Dishwasher

mix "CLR" (at stores) with water, pour it in, turn on diswasher (nothing in the machine) then stop it in the middle of first cycle before it drains. The "CLR" will get rid of calcium deposits that are clogging machine. I stopped my dishwasher for a few hours to let "CLR" work. This worked for me.

SOURCE: NO WATER IN ICE MAKER

From what you've described, it sounds like you have a defective inlet water-valve.

I would remove your outside rear bottom panel; disconnect the 2 prong wires connected to your ice-maker water valve (blue with black solenoids) and check for continuity using an ohm-meter setting. If defective, replace. Whats' your model #?

SOURCE: compressor runs continuously, and center bar (heat dissipator) is extremely hot to touch.

Molly, The hot bar is a normal part of the sealed system (compressor) operation. The relay they told you about is on the back of the compressor and I would not recommend you changing that. The refrigerator is a balanced system, the freezer air removes the heat from the refrigerator side. If the compressor runs all the time, look for food close to the edge and not letting the doors close completely. Move items back. Don't over pack the freezer, the air must circulate. The refrigerator of today runs longer and uses less power that the old refrigerator. If you are still having issues with this model call a authorized Kitchen repair person in you area and ask how much they charge to come to your house and give an estimate.

We have a kitchen aid KGSA906PSS00 gas range. for the first time today the wife decided to run the self clean function. At some point through the self clean the oven shut off and the control panel died....

Sounds like my problem two days ago. I have a Kitchen Aid free standing gas oven/range model
KGRI801PWH00. I read online that the thermo-fuse might've blown. I found the thermo-fuse after removing the rear panel. It was at the top/center. Mine is T-O-D (brand) 60F24; Westinghouse #8300802. I ordered mine from appliancepartspros.com for only $34.75; arrived in 36 hrs with regular shipping!! Easy to fix, sure beats several hundred $$ to repairman.

Don't bother to call Kitchen Aid - they'll just blow you off just like the hundreds of complaints said that I found online.

Kitchen Aid Oven - Superba Selectra- receive

Hi,

Here is what Kitchen Aid says about F4:

F4 Meat probe shorted
1. Disconnect meat probe and measure probe resistance (78kω at 60° F [15.6° C],
37kω at 90° F [32.2° C]).
2. If resistance is not valid replace probe.
3. Insert probe and check for a firm connection between probe and jack (in oven cavity).
4. Check connection between jack and harness (in rear of oven).

It sounds like the probe jack may be bad or the wiring between the jack and the control board above.

Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

I would like to clean in between the windows on the dooes of the oven. We have a kitchen aid superba double oven

You will have to dissassemble the door to clean between the glass. You may need to replace the gasket material when you do. It can be done but care will need to be taken during dissassembly, marking parts, so that during reassembly the unit will function correctly and not leak heat or cause the tempered glass to break. Good luck. I hope this is helpful.

Kebs208d THE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK

HI, this is a major control fault. you will need to replace the Oven control asap if possible. It has failed.

Possible causes--

*Power surge
*Failed logic(IC)
*Oven Temp Sensor failuer that has resulted in extreme temps that has overheated the board.

Kitchen Aid Superba Double Oven

Remove the oven from the wall. Remove the rear panel.
The upper and lower ovens have a non-resettable thermal fuse that has blown.
Use a VOM to verify which fuse. After repair use Easy Off, not self clean.

Self cleaning does not work

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.
