Have reset oven by turning off breaker several times. no longer under warranty e 15 error code can i repair or do i need a tech. serial # NF047 32350
Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!
I see your Electrolux range is displaying "E15" error code and you have reset your appliance but continue to receive the message. An "E15" error code stands for ESEC (Electronic Surface Element Control) self-test failed which could be a possible issue with your relay board or UIB (User Interface Board). I suggest seeking assistance from a technician to properly diagnose and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
I finally fixed this E15 problem permanently, after months of doing the reset trick that would only fix the problem for a short time period. The problem was : electronic interference with a coaxial cable that was running behind my stove !!! A coaxial cable was coming from the basement, then running on the wall behind my induction range in in order to reach the little TV on my counter. Disconnecting this cable 2 months ago immediately fix the E15 problem. I found this idea on the web and believe me, it was helpful for me. So I would suggest people with this E15 problem to check if they have anything electronic around the stove, including cell phone probably...
E15 error kept coming back, even after cutting power at electric box - then someone suggested using the lockdown key (the 3 second lock), then doing an unlock and - very quickly - firing up any element as soon as the system unlocks - that worked fine for quite a while, for about one month - then, unexpectedly, the e15 error just went away, and everything now works fine !!!

If it's a year old and under a 5 year warranty then it will be covered under the warranty and shouldn't cost you a dime. If it happens again then speak to someone about getting a different range since you may have received a lemon.
Thank you for your inquiry, Carol!
From what you have described your Electrolux range is displaying an error code of E15. I see you have reset your breaker and continue to receive the error code. The error code E15 means that your ESEC (Electronic Surface Element Control) test failed this could be a problem with your relay board or UIB (User Interface Board). When you reset your breaker did you leave it off for at least ten minutes? That is the best way to reset your range. You may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your inquiry, Phillip!
From what you have described your Electrolux range is displaying an error code of "co55". I was unable to locate that specific error code. It might be a display error with your range and I would suggest performing a reset. You can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help correct your issue could you please provide me with your model number? With that information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt
