I have an iPad 2 that suddenly started to freeze up. When it unfrozen on its own after a few minutes, it suddenly went crazy, hopping from app to app very quickly and typed things on some apps and later I found that it had posted something to face book from one of my apps. I took it to the Apple store and they restored it to factory settings. After setting everything back up again, it happened again!!!! What do I do?
I guess, by reading your question, that the iPad 2 have the latest IOS (9.3.5). Most of this problem are related to the IOS firmware, it is simply terrible for a device with just 512mb. of memory. Next time it freezes, just press home and power button until you see the Apple logo, once the logo is display, let go of the buttons.

I believe that you may have the accessibility mode turned on. I think if you double tap with three fingers it should return to normal.

If the spacebar on the keyboard isn't there (with .com and underscore keys etc instead), you're in the URL-typing keyboard instead of the normal one. Try clicking the @ icon in the bar just above the keyboard to change modes. In handwriting mode, it's the same thing...click the @ icon near the left side of the bottom bar.

The only way you can install apps onto your iPad is though the apple app store. There should be an icon directly on your iPad that can take you there. It is an icon just saying "app store".
If you have iTunes on your computer, you can also access the app store through there, download the apps to your computer and then sync the iPad to iTunes on your computer. I hope this helps :)

Be sure that hard reset retains all data and settings on iPad, it doesn't delete anything. If you want to start over and delete all personal data from iPad you should use iPad Recovery Mode.
