My Vizio 4K TV won’t stay turned off! No matter if I use the remote that cane with the tv, the directv remote, or the button on the tv. It will turn off for about 2 seconds and then turn right back on!...

You need to disconnect the power from this tv, then press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds to drain the charge off the circuit boards inside. Then plug it back in and start over. If this does not solve the problem you may need to have it checked out by a repairman. You should still be under warranty so report the problem and file a warranty claim.

Tv won't power up straight away

when lcd tv`s fail to power up, but stay on standby. It is usually because of bad capacitors on the power board. My 22" lcd monitor did the same. It would not come off of standby. It starts with them being slow to turn on. "Sound familiar"? I fixed mine by changing the bad caps. There were two of them.

Red Vertical bars cover the right 1/4 of the screen. They starting appearing sporadically several weeks ago and would go away, now they stay on the screen, regardless of video input ..

Try resetting the TV to the factory settings. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue still persists, then the TV requires service.

Multi colored strip running thru tv

I'm affraid to say that your screen has got a PDP/LCD fault. Just like a tube going on a TV. This is a fault which is beyond economical repair

TV screen goes blank but power stays on

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.
