Yes, but it takes several steps to transfer pics from your tablet to a flash drive.

There are two ways of accessing tablet files: 1) wireless access which requires a sync app on your tablet and PC software of the same app type. One such app for sync between Android (any) to/from PC software is Cheetah Sync: http://www.jrtstudio.com/cheetah-sync-android-wireless-sync.

Alternatively, you can use ES File Explorer's Network/LAN/Cloud/FTP functions to share files between your Android phone/tablet and your PC via secure Wifi: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/share-files-between-android-and-windows-with-es-file-explorer/

or 2) wired via the USB charging cable, which I will explain in more detail:

Plug your table to your PC using the Samsung charger cable that doubles as a data transfer cable when you remove the USB plug from the wall charger cube and plug it to the USB port on your PC.
Your PC should read your tablet as an external drive: Open "My Computer" and double-click the tablet drive icon>search your subfolders for your pictures. Highlight your picture files and either copy and paste or drag and drop (different way of copy/paste) to your desktop (or desired location), copies will be transferred but not moved from the tablet unless you "cut and paste" from your table to PC to clear out your tablet and make more space. When done, unplug your tablet cable from the PC. Plug in your flash drive to the available USB port: access the flash drive icon on My Computer. Drag and drop or copy and paste picture files to your flash drive.

How can I transfer music from a flash drive like leaf bridge to my iPad Air and then have that music stored in iCloud?

You can attach some flash drives to Apple's $29 iPad Camera Connection Kit. (If you have an iPad with a Lightning connector you'll additionally need Apple's $29 Lightning to USB Camera Adapter.) Let me underscore some. Some flash drives require more power than the iPad can provide and won't work.

For the second question, here's also a guide to help you back up iPad music to iCloud.
  1. Connect your iPad to a Wi-Fi network.
  2. In iOS 8 or later, tap Settings > iCloud > Backup. ...
  3. Make sure that iCloud Backup is turned on.
  4. Tap Back Up Now. ...
  5. Make sure the backup finished by tapping Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage, and then select your iPad.
If you have a new computer, you can also backup iPad music onto it.

It has a usb and says I can connect another device but how to open? I am trying to move pictures from my phone. Thank you

Try transferring images from your phones gallery via Bluetooth. Go into your tablets settings, click Bluetooth settings, click make this device is discoverable. Go into your phones settings , click Bluetooth settings, click find devices around me. There will probably be several devices. Make sure and click your tablet. It will ask to connect say yes. It may ask for a password. If you have never set one up this should be 0000 or 1234. Make sure they're communicating and then go into phones gallery and click menu, there should be a transfer images selection. Make sure and transfer using Bluetooth. I hope this helps. You could also upload pics to your private gallery on Facebook from phone and then download onto your tablet. :)

How do i transfer photos from a usb to samsjng galaxy 3 tablet

To transfer files directly from a usb flash drive you will need a USB on the go adapter. If your tablet is rooted, StickMount will make the process much easier.

You can also use a computer to transfer the files, plug both the tablet and the flash drive into a computer and use windows to transfer them between the two devices.

Additionally you could use some sort of cloud storage to transfer them, attach the usb drive to the pc, and copy the photos to a service like Google drive or Dropbox, then simply download the files onto the tablet using that services app.

Instructions manuals

pictures should already be loaded to SD card... if not, you probably need to format SD card and then try again. I've had issues with SD cards going from laptop to Tab 3 but my pics taken with my camera always load to SD card. Now pictures I have downloaded from the internet I can open up in my Gallery, tap the picture and then hit settings and move to SD card
