It is not difficult to put DVDs onto your Creative Zen X-FI. However, commercial DVDs are generally encrypted. In order to copy these DVD to Creative ZEN, you'd need to break that encryption, which can be done by Daniusoft DVD Ripper. It is a powerful and easy-to-use DVD to Creative Zen X-Fi Converter software

It can convert DVD to Creative Zen video including AVI,WMV,MPEG that fits for Creative Zen. This DVD to Creative Zen Converter can also convert DVD to Creative Zen audio MP3, WMA, WAV with super fast speed and excellent quality.

Also, it is very easy to use. All you need to do is:
  1. 1. Importing you DVDs;
  2. 2. Choose output format and path;
  3. 3. Then start converting.
All the tasks of ripping DVD to Creative Zen files will be down in good quality and high speed.

Can't convert mp4 files through Creative Zen video converter

Creative Zen has its own video format, so you need a thrid party video converter to convert videos to the format fit for your player.
Here I recommend you try Wondershare Video Converter Platinum, which could convert between all popular Video formats ( AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, FLV, MPEG etc.) that support all popular portable media players (such as Creative Zen, Zune/Zune HD, iPod/iPhone and PSP) and the latest iPod Nano 5G, iPod Touch 3, iPhone 3GS/OS 3.1.

Try this...Push a pin into the reset hole at the bottom of the player while at the same time holding down the play and power buttons. Next on the recovery screen that shows up, run the ":clean-ip" function. Then try again to import the music files.
