The unit has no power ( No light come up)
Old or newly installed. If new it was probably just not properly installed, that is more likely then it being broken. Also, by code all dishwasher must be on a separate line from everything else in the kitchen but most contractors are not qualified electricians and put other items on the same line. Look for a blow out GFCI plug that shut power off to the dishwasher. You should also hire an electrician (try Angies List so you get decent one) to rewire the appliance to code if this is the case. Of course you did check the fuse box. Right? I\'d still check for thrown GFCI plugs first. The guy that built my kitchen did not do it to code either. There was a GFCI plug on the same line.

Sometimes I have to push the cancel button on my Kitchenaid and start over and push the selection buttons again. and then push start. Don't know if this will help.
SOURCE: dishwasher stopped and will not start
Try jigling the ribbon cable that is connected to the control panel. These ribbon cables sometimes fail. Also check the fuse on the control board to see if it is blown.

If you are certain that the power is being delivered into the dishwasher and it is new / under warranty, I recommend that you do not crack open the dishwasher to search for the problem. You might void said warranty.
Contact the service number inside the owners manual and press for on-site resolution.

Hello &
Welcome to FixYa Press and
hold the AIR DRY/RINSE ONLY button to reset the control, if you have already
tried this and it is possible that the door was opened while in cycle then the
first thing that should be checked is the door switch/lock assembly. You can
take a hair dryer and try to blow air on that, if the problem returns then
replacing the door switch/lock assembly is recommended repair. Please get back
to me if you have any other questions. Kevin

Hi If clean light is blinking then it may be an
issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to
the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error.
If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing
this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air
Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub,
energy saver dry or high temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press
the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this
doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past
the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that
heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have
to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to
3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure
water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps...
Please post back if you need more information. Daniel
