How do I remove a main top for frigidaire gas stove model FFGF3047LSE and replace with a new one?

planning to install a 30" stovetop natural gas.need to know if i need a vent to the outside, it has 4 burners

If the new switch is a substitute, should have come with instructions.
If no instructions, I would suggest matching the markings on the switch next to each terminal.eg, match terminal marking on old switch as L1 to marking on new switch as L1. The markings are industry standard and should match from old switch to new switch.

well usually you have to remove the knobs. thentake all of the caps off of the burners. sometimes there are scres that hold the burner caps on. make sure you turn the power off. Then after you have done this the glass should come right off. If not there may be screws under the cooktop. Do these first steps and let me know how it goes.
