How to take Frigidaire dryer apart

Thank you for your post, friend!

I understand that you would like to know how to take apart your Frigidaire washer. Is there a specific component you are searching for or did your washer provide you with an error code. If you could provide me with a model number I would be able to further assist you. You can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the door frame of your washer. With that additional information I would be happy to assist you. -Matt

My Frigidaire affinity washer leaks water into the washer stand. Whenever I open the drawer after washing a couple of loads there's water in the drawer.

That's what I thought was wrong with mine to I had 1.75 in change and a piece of a wash clothe in the screen. I toke all that out and it still leaked. Took it apart further and found a piece of the weight that is made out of cement broke of and rubbed through the drum. That sounds like junk to me!!!

Change control board on Frigidaire washer LTF2940ES3

This is typically not a DIY type of job since the entire front, top, panel where the settings are needs to be taken apart to reach the control board and wiring harnesses.

Frigidaire FTF2140ES0 Front Load Washer lock indicator light goes off, but will not spin.

Sounds like the electronic locking mechanism is malfunctioning. It is supposed to enguage before the high spin cycle. It is about a $20 part.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. The pressure switch is located on the top hooked to the side.If you dont know which one it is it is the one with the little hose coming from the bottom of it to the tub.

Washer is shaking violently when it is time for the spin cycle

Check to see if all shipping blocks and bolts were removed. Refer to installation and setup instructions for your model.

I once moved into an apartment furnished with washer and dryer. The washer had worn holes in the vinyl flooring and a neighbor said the previous tenant made her son sit on the washer to hold it down. I investigated and found the shipping bolts were still in place. The tub, which is supposed to be able to swing, was rigidly held in place, so the entire machine danced around the room!

Washer will not spin, pump will not empty nor fill

Don't have resistance for wax motor. It works or it doesn't. If the door locks with 120 volts to the wax motor it is working. From your checks you have the tech sheet out of the unit so I won't go take mine apart. Check the voltage fro the timer pins that the trouble shooting says to check. Also check the pressure switch. If it reads full it will not put power to the spin. That's not in the tech sheet.
