According to page 62 in the Stihl user manual:

Electrode gap: 0.02 in. (0.5 mm)

I assume you mean the chain sprocket cover. Depending on the model, there are several attachment options. On one design, it is held in place by two nuts; to remove, unscrew the nuts and pull off the cover. On another model, it is held on by one nut that gets unscrewed. The third option requires you to move the grip into position and then loosen the wingnut until it is loose against the cover. Then you can remove the cover.

Unfortunately, I can't tell which cover design that applies for your chain saw. (My chain saws are older and may have a different design.) However for pictures of the different cover designs see pages 24-26 of the manual. (See the link below; in the pdf see pages 26-28.)
