The Minolta is a maxxum 330si model number 99515303. No error code just blinking battery image

link to your manual, it tells us that we have a winding motor problem, I would do as you have done, so I would ensure that batterys are in great shape, the only other thing I could suggest is to try to turn the winding motor by hand in case it is just locked up. Failing that I presume the motor has died and needs replacement.

The above posting is correct, and the cell is a CR2016. The main batteries are removed by unscrewing the battery holder on the right grip. Most Maxxum 7000's have AAA's, some have AA's, and if you have the lithium holder, it uses a 2CR5, available at the photo shops / pharmacies.
