I wanat to connect my LG VU phone to my IPOD touch ( version 3.0 software) I've gone though add device and the two devices can see each other. When I try to connect it asks for a pin code. I used 0000 on both and that didn't work. I used 1234 on both and that didn't work. Afte I do it once it keeps saying bluetooth busy when I want to connect. Any ideas?

have you left the phone off for 24 hours if you switch it on and it is asking for security code i can get the master override code for your phone but i need the imei number and the code number off the back of your phone under battery the imei is 15 or 16 numbers long might be like123456/44/22343/2 and then the other one is about 6 numbers long 123456 if you give me these i can give you master code if your phone dont ask for code then you need to get it flashed at a shop to unlock it hope this is some help

hey ! you cant give random pass keys..you ll have to provide a pass key to the device to which you are trying to pair with..and that pass key must be entered so that your other device is safe..! so you provide your other device with a pass key ..then try..ok

you create the passcode, then your computer will ask for the passcode and you type the same thing in, it doesnt matter what passcode it is, as long as it matches.

Problems!

What I would do is try downloading the newest version of Itunes. That should work or you can try and restoring it. If you want to try that route here is how t do it:

  1. Open iTunes on your computer.
  2. Connect your iPod to the computer using the USB cable.
  3. When the device appears in iTunes, select the "Restore" button. You will have four options from which to choose. Restore uses the same version of iPod software. Restore 2 uses the same iPod software though an update is available. Restore 3 puts the newest version of iPod Shuffle software on your device. And restore 4 installs the latest version of software and updates the device.
  4. Keep the iPod connected throughout the restore process.
  5. Name your iPod after the restore is complete and sync your library with it again if you so choose.

You dont need any software to connect your phone to a pc, just a data cable, LG Phone Suite is useless for the VU. Make sure you are using a memeory card of up to 4 GB, and it is your primary storage device.

You should start by restoring the iPod Nano and iPod touch using iTunes. Below is a step by step for both. This should resolve sync and capacity issues. Restoring your device will erase all data from your iPod touch, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. Whenever you restore your iPod touch, Apple highly recommends that you perform a sync prior to restoring in order to back up any changes since your last sync. If you have movie rentals on the device, see this document before restoring.
Use the following steps to restore your iPod touch:
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update. Connect your iPod touch to your computer. Select your iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices. Select the Summary tab. Select the Restore option. When prompted to back up your iPod touch's settings before restoring, select the Back Up option. If have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (As long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your iPod touch).
