LOFRA LEF9EGP gas stove/electric oven - aluminium foil touching bottom element - is this safe?

The tin foil is there to reflect the heat and the lagging is to stop the heat from escaping.
I would think the foil should not be touching the element but otherwise, your description sounds plausible.

I melted a plastic bowl in oven I scraped most of it out while it was hot but now I have thin spots of plastic film, I need to know how to clean without ruining the surface of my oven cavity

Warm the oven to 100c allow to cool for 15 mins with door open then lightly scrub with a ball of aluminium foil this won't scratch ad foil is softer than the oven lining

Stainless steel oven finish peeling off

It is likely that the factory-installed clear plastic protective covering was not removed before the oven was placed into service.

Stainless Steel does not peel!

Ovens and other appliances with Stainless Steel finishes are made from solid sheets of the material. They are almost always sent from the factory with a protective plastic film on the finish.

Just find an edge of the appliance, and start peeling the protective film off. Pull it off slowly, as to not leave any possible residual glue or plastic on the appliance.

If the heat from the oven caused some of the plastic film to melt and it does not peel off, I would immediately call the store or dealer from which you purchased the oven and start hollering, as they did NOT properly prepare the item for sale (if it was delivered and installed).

If you purchased it in the crate/box, and installed it yourself, you must take responsibility for not having fully read the instructions before using the oven.

In that case, I would peel as much of the plastic off as is possible, and then use some LOW ODOR CLEANING SOLVENT ( or PAINT THINNER) to remove the rest, using ONLY a soft cotton towel to soak it and rub it with. Do NOT use anything abrasive or scratchy, or you will totally ruin the finish! Do NOT use the scrubber side of a sponge, or a Brillo pad, or Choreboy-type pad!

*** CAUTION!!! *** DANGER! *** The fumes and vapors from the solvent ARE EXPLOSIVE AND FLAMMABLE! DO NOT USE THE STOVE UNTIL THE VAPORS AND FUMES HAVE TOTALLY DISSIPATED!!! Open the doors or windows to the room for fresh air when you are using the solvent, and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS thoroughly!

All is not lost yet, but getting melted plastic off the stove will take some time and a very gentle touch. Be patient, and good luck.

The fuse on my delonghi def905gw1 free standing oven keeps blowing when I turn it to oven or fan oven

STOP USING THE OVEN NOW! ELECTROCUTION HAZARD.

Hard to diagnose, but SAFETY alert, all inspection work MUST be done with the power off - some places cord disconnected.
Oven electricity is dangerous.
The oven right now could be dangerous. Call professional or the last 'repairman'. make that call if you value your life or your partners.

First hunch is you have had work done on the oven before, badly and something is shorting, wire insulation melted, or a spade type lug moved. Multimeter will reveal the truth.

An oven service manual to track the short would be nice, but I expect
a blacked or charred spot will be visible around either the switch or wires leading from it.

MELTED ALUMINUM FOIL ON BOTTOM OF OVEN FLOOR: Have a Kenmore ceramic smooth top range. We placed a piece of aluminum foil on the very bottom of the oven as we like to bake our pizza on the rack but...

I would try a copper scouring pad.
Aluminium is very soft - Mohs hardness of 2.75
Copper has a Mohs hardness of 3, just slightly harder.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardnesses_of_the_elements_(data_page)
Ceramic tile has a hardness of 7
Mohs Hardness Scale

This means the copper scouring pad should be able to remove the melted foil without scratching the ceramic - but test first to be sure.

Seems like the blower motor is making a lot of grinding noise and the fan is not spinning quickly. also the fan continues to spin when the door is open.

the blower wheel has come loose from it's base, this happens a lot with ovens where aluminium foil is used, as the Moffat oven was designed to be the ultimate pastry oven, free flow air system was designed into it, I would start with the blower wheel as it is usually the cheaper of the 2 to buy.

What brands of aluminum foil are safe for convection ovens

Any good quality heavy duty foil should do. Temperatures in conventional ovens never come near the melting point of aluminium, although all aluminiums for a slight health risk.

Melted aluminum foil on bottom of oven

Steel wool is the best bet, but it would be easier to replace the floor panel. I had a customer do the same thing. depending on how bad it is replacement mat be a easier option, about $35 for the new panel, and about a month to get the part. two screws on the floor of the oven next to the back wall. The manual does say not to use foil on the oven floor.
