I had exactly this problem! First I could not find my user manual, but luckily Bambino provides it online. Then you discover that removing the seat is not covered in the manual... (Bambino, take note!)
I eventually figured it out (the items in bold are mentioned in the manual):
- Remove the top tether (the strap that goes over the top of the seatback and clips in behind the seat).
- Rotate the adjuster buttons (2 knobs, one on each side of the car seat near the bottom) anti-clockwise so that the ISOFIX anchors can extend. The seat will now be loose but still clipped in.
- Pull both release buttons (small sliding catches on the ISOFIX anchors, close to the red+green indicator) towards the front of the seat so that the ISOFIX indicators turn red. The seat should now be free!
Hi I have a FisherPrice ISO fix seat locked, I can't release anchors, both are stuck and locked, the realease button does not work.
Any idea?
thanks

I find that you have to press the seat towards the anchor as opposed to the more natural urge to pull it away. Sometimes it needs a lot of wiggling forwards and backwards while pulling on the release buttons to get it to release. It also helps to tackle one anchor at a time.
Hope that helps... These seats can be very frustrating at times!

SOURCE: Lost one of the yellow connectors for isofix for Maxi-Cosi Priori
The 'Isofix guides' are available to buy from Dorel UK LTD (01842 767965) (See maxicosi website/customer services) for £7.99+P&P @ £3.99.
When I called (as one of mine is broken) they told me they are not essential to fit the car seat safely - they are simply 'guides' and if the actual forks on the seat are not damaged in anyway; not having the guides will not affect the car seat performance in any way.
Kindest regards

Hi,
If you purchased the carseat without the bars, then this is a Cabrio and not a CabrioFix carseat, and nothing can be done to adapt this to become a CabrioFix.
I hope this helps.

Hi,
The Easy Fix Base is used for cars which have isofix points in their car. The Easy Base fits into your car using the seatbelt.
Both of these bases can be used ONLY for the CabrioFix Carseat and cannot be used for the next stage seat (Group 1).
I hope this helps.
