Click on the display button (upper left corner) as a short term fix - it will turn it off immediately - not sure of how to permanently solve this though.

You need to go into the TV menu and turn it off.

Press HOME, then select s_xmbs_set.icon.png > Picture & Display > Picture Adjustments > Motionflow > the desired option.

Good luck and let me know if this helps!

Your TV is in store demo mode.

To fix this, access the TV's menu and find the option to run initial setup. At the beginning of initial set-up, you'll be asked whether or not the TV should be put into Home or Retail mode. Choose Home.

I have a grey band on top of our screen indication HDMI1. How can I get rid of it. help!!!

If you press the INPUT button on the TV remote you switch to your various inputs, you have HDMI 1 selected. The info banner will display each time you switch channels or inputs. Press the DISPLAY button on the TV remote. Press again if info does not go away after 10 secs. Check your INITIAL SETTINGS on the TV to fine tune this kind of option.

I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV and in the top left of the screen I have the icons on a black background: AV5 5 1080i/50 How do I get rid of them?

Go into the menu of the TV and toggle to "Banner" Highlight, and set to "off". If you don't have a copy of your manual, you can get it for free from www.sonystyle.com click on support, enter your model # in the box & download manual. Hope this helps
