MY 1850 PSI POWER WASHER WON'T START UP. As fast as the motor started, it shut down. And there is still power. What is the problem?

Power Cord If the washer won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.

pressure switch check it

Try a new unloader valve,if it is stuck the motor can.t overcome the pump and will either die or blow a breaker.

Does it have spark??

Does it have fresh petrol??

replace the fuel carburetor filter and, or, your fuel tank filter

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.
