Model rz4623 zero turn deck belt is jumping a lot

I have amodel rz4623 zero turn mower the belt is jumping a lot,replaced right deck puully front idler pilley same problem

See if belt has burn spots in it that will cause it to jump excessively

SOURCE: deck removal

If memory serves me correctly it is just disconnecting the rods and I think there were a few large springs also. If you tear it down that far you may as well check pulley bearings too!

go to sears.com and put in model# for parts look up and they will have it or call 1-800-4my home to get owner manual

Likely the deck idler pulley is loose or bearings are shot. The pulley should not wobble and the flat side of the belt should ride square against the pulley face (the pulley should be reasonably perpendicular to the deck). If not, the idler arm pivot is loose or the pivot bolt and arm are shot. Check proper tension is applied by idler pulley torsion spring (the belt is not loose).

Not sure the problem, there are no gears on the drive system. This uses Hydro drive wheel units. If the belt is on and in good shape, check the lever linkage.
