Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your door is locked and you have error "F5E1" showing on your range. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue and you continue to receive the error "F5E1" I would contact a professional to come out and repair your appliance because it could be an issue within your UIB (user interface board) or main control panel. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

Bosch cooktop Flashing F9

again.

From what you have described your Frigidaire oven lock is stuck open and you are receiving error codes "F9" and "DR". The "F9" error code stands for runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. The "DR" code means that the door is not closed or the door latch is not recognizing the door is closed. This could be an issue with your door latch or control panel. If the reset does not help correct your issues I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair.

Why is door locked and will not self-clean?

Hey Kimberly, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that the door on your Frigidaire range is locked and it will not start a self-clean cycle, it is also displaying an error code of "F91". The "F91" error code means that the door has exceeded maximum oven door unlock time. This means you could be experiencing an issue with your door latch, control panel, or a miscommunication within the range. To clear out a miscommunication within your range you need to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. I hope that this information is helpful to you. -Matt

What does the F93 code mean and how do we fixt it

i know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your oven. the f93 on this model of kenmore range indicates that you have a problem with the oven door lock assembly (see image below). this can be caused by a failed oven door lock assembly, a wiring failure or a bad electronic oven control board.
i recommend that you unplug the range and check the wiring between the components first. you can remove the upper back panel of the range to access the electronic oven control board in the console. you may need to remove the lower panel to access the door lock assembly on the back of the range. the image below shows the wiring diagram and other information that should help you check the wiring connections. check for a mechanical binding of the door lock assembly as well. if the wiring connections are okay, you will likely need to replace the oven door lock assembly. if you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. thank you for using manage my life.

How to get the F9 err off when i press the button clean for my oven

The F9 code indicates a problem with the door lock. (Since the oven must lock the door for a cleaning cycle, this will be a "fatal" error for the cleaning cycle.) There are a few possibilities. Open the oven door and look for a L-shaped piece of metal on the top of the oven frame. Check that this lock part is angled to go straight up (12 on an analog clock). If it is rotated slightly, it won't fit properly during the lock cycle.

Clean the latch and wiggle it to check if it will move freely. If these steps don't fix the problem, you need to check the door latch motor and switches. You will need to take off the back panel of the oven to find the motor. Check for loose wires or damaged/loose switches.

If the motor assembly and switches are good, then the central control (clock) probably needs to be replaced.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(most self-cleaning ovens will eventually have a problem with the lock assembly.)

Frigidaire stove oven want come on model # FGF368GSJ

Hello Larry D Harris - Does any part of the range work? I would recommend verifying that a fuse is not blown or a circuit breaker tripped. Test the power outlet with a lamp, hair dryer, etc. Another questions, does "Loc" appear in the display if any button is pushed? The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents the warmer drawer and most oven controls from being turned ON. If so, press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. Do the maintop burners work? Granting that it does, you can try confirming that the shut-off valve on the gas pressure regulator is in the "ON" position (usually located on the back left-hand side of the range). This valve shuts off gas to the oven. If after the basic troubleshooting, you continue to experience the issue I would suggest contacting a certified technician to assist in the full diagnosis and repair of your range.
