I see nail in position at end of loading chamber but all of a sudden gun wouldn't fire a nail. Should I put couple drops of oil into air connect to see if this helps.
I suggest that you make sure that there is no air he tool so, remove the air supply. Then if you remove the cover from the nose (Making sure that you also take out all the unused nails first) it should allow access to the front nose plate. If you remove this, it will allow you to carefully remove the nail. While you're at it, check that the driver blade tip doesn't have any burring or damage to it. If so, you might need to fettle it back into shape or, replace it?
what Alex said, but if time is a factor, after you remove the 3 allen bolts from the nose plate, grip it (two parts) with two fingers, lift it about 1/4 inch at the bottom and the nail will fall out then put it back down....if you take it off any further, then you'll have to waste 5-20 minutes (depending on your skill, mine? pretty bad) with re-assembling the mechanism...and if the sun is setting, we all know how precious that last few minutes are of daylight are.
I tried this and it didn't work. The plates came out and something that must have something to do with the trigger. I got the nail/brad out but can't figure out how to put it back. There is an awkward shaped piece that I can't figure how/where it goes back.

SOURCE: Porter Cable nail gun
I had this same problem. The factory repair store sold me a Driver maintence kit. it worked but I didn't need the actual driver as mine was not that worn. I only really needed the O-rings from the kit and grease applied to them to getting working again. It was a pretty easy fix. I think the air is slipping around the O-ring so it cannot pull back the driver piston. I probably didn't keep as well oiled as I should have.
SOURCE: Senco SN4 misfiring intermittently
This is a discontinued tool by Senco but there are still parts available for it. It sound to me that the o rings and possibly the firing valve need to be replaced. I would recommend going to Senco.com and you will find a complete parts diagram in their discontinued tool section. They also have a toll free number if needed and you can talk to their air pro. I have rebuilt quite a few of these and they are not that hard just make sure to clean all the parts and use lube when replacing O rings.
SOURCE: Air leaks arond trigger when depressed, but no nail fires.
Where does the air leak out from? If it leaks from the trigger DeWalt makes a trigger valve assembly part # 641006-00 list 8.89 BUT if it leaks from other areas we have to look into it deeper. If it is just the trigger valve let me know and I will give you instructions how to remove and install the new one.
SOURCE: Bostitch nail gun loss of pressure, won't fire nail
Hello. I can help you. The nail gun you have uses 18 gauge brads. I would use only original Bostitch 18 gauge.
The one MM of difference you mention is the reason why you do not have the pressure you did have. Get rid of those 31MM brads and get the 18 gauge. Home Depot carries the Bostitch line. I would go there or to homedepot.com
