I need to factory reset my Digiland DL808W Tablet for windows 10

For the factory reset of your Digiland DL808W Tablet for windows 10, follow these steps:
Turn your Tablet off first.

Hold down the up volume button and power button together.
A menu in English should show up.
Choose the restore option.
Dead android with caution sign appears.
Hold down the up volume button and press and release power button.
Choose the factory reset option.

My digiland dl8006 tablet will not leave the select boot mode what do i do

My Digiland DL8006 tablet was completely hung at the boot. It wouldnt continue or shut down and no key combinations would reset it. It had been sitting for a while so probably low charge. I popped the back off, unplugged the connector for the battery off the board and reinserted. Tablet went back to off. Then plugged in to charge and the charge screen appeared. Left it to fully charge. Put the back on again and booted and all was well. To open the back pry around the crack on the edge with a small screwdriver or plastic tool. There are clips all around that will pop loose. Just watch for the plastic buttons, they are connected together and fall out easily. Need to reset a digiland dl808w tablet NO TOUCHSCREEN

I know how fix it if any still need help. You will need usb with windows 8 install on it, keyboard and micro usb hub, which take other devices get things from it, like gettin gwindows 8 start on tablet digiland. You need start device, press winodws key and alt, then it should start over bios mode, then go to first slot start windows 8 usb, then restart, wait it fully go usb then should be windows 8 install done right after waiting say 5-8 minutes see it, then should be able take it from there. I did it but having problems with updates it needs, which working on. Hey least get winodws 8 right.

Hi Mercedes, you will have to perform a factory reset to take the tablet back to when new!
Power the Tablet down completely. Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons until a recovery screen appears. You should be presented with a screen that will allow you to perform a Wipe Data Factory Reset. Perform the reset then restart the Tablet.

1) Power off the tablet. 2) Press and hold the Volume-Down and Power button simultaneously. 3) It displayed a menu in Korean/Chinese (?). 4) Scroll down (using the Volume-Down button) to the SIXTH menu choice. 5) Press the Power button to select. This will start the factory reset process. You will then be directed through the original start-up process as if you got it out of the box for the first time. If you have a Google account and if you stored your settings to Google, your previously loaded applications and saved contacts should start downloading. This is a factory reset, so everything not saved to Google will be lost.

Here is a step by step I found :)

1) Power off the tablet. 2) Press and hold the Volume-Down and Power button simultaneously. 3) It displayed a menu in Korean/Chinese (?). 4) Scroll down (using the Volume-Down button) to the SIXTH menu choice. 5) Press the Power button to select. This will start the factory reset process

Now I have 1 Chinese line after selecting 6th option. It won't go any further. I tried pressing the power button and vol. down again, but nothing!

Ah-ha! I chose the 6th option that WAS NOT HIGHLIGHTED and that started the reset process.

There are two ways to do it. You can either update the firmware and it will erase everything for you, or you can do a factory reset, and return to factory settings. Go to Settings, PDN settings (not the Android settings menu) and scroll right to the Reset Defaults location. Tap on the reset button and you will be taken back to factory default settings. It might take a while to reload, but after everything it will be back to factory defaults from when you first bought it. Updating the firmware might be your best option if you care to resell it, because it may cause less issues for the next person and less chance of any returns.
