The drain pump shuts on off on and so
Reading the error code
The fault on the appliance is signalled via:
1. the continuous rotation of the selector knob
2. the action, for the first 4', of the electrovalve and the drain pump
3. the door becomes unlocked
4. the led flashes: the number of flashes indicates the fault code; the code should be read as follows:
· each fast flash (2/3 flashes of the led very close together) represents one code value
· the fault code is evaluated by counting the number of flashes occurring at 3/4" intervals from one another
· stop counting when the washing machine waits the equivalent of approximately 8/9" between flashes
· the procedure is repeated by the appliance cyclically
After you determine which the alarm code appeared we will able specifically to help you.

either you have a blocked hose to the pump or the pump itself is either jammed or the impellor has come off the shaft. either way i think you will need to replace the pump. i presume you managed to get the water out? if so i would say the pump is favourite.

hi there.....this usually happens when the base of the machine is full of water.....switch the machine off ....remove the two plactic inspection panels at the bottom of the machine and dry out the base....check that all fittings and fixtures in the main cabinet are secure and not leaking..particularly the transfer tube from the wash pump to the upper spray arm..(machine needs to be pulled out of its position to check this as it is at the rear)
regards Sir Galahad

Hello. If the appliance won't start and the 2nd and the 4th light from the right flash rapidly, this means the filter is clogged by large particles of food residue. Turn the appliance off, clean the filter thoroughly and reposition it in its seat. Then turn it back on. The selected wash cycle will start up again. If this action does not solve the problem, Read below:
