Have connected new Veon 50" TV with Freeview but cannot get it to work with Sky decoder
SOURCE: can,t get sky to connect
Hi.
I assume that just the TV has been replaced, and that there is no problem with the satellite connection, disk orientation, LNB and receiver box. Eventually test again the satellite signal using a spare TV.
To connect the new TV:
Turn off Sky receiver and TV.
Connect cable from box to TV (possibly HDMI, alternatively component or SCART).
Turn on box first.
Turn on TV.
If Sky signal is not displayed, try using the Source/Input button on TV remote to select source.
If there is still no raster, test using a different connection cable and ensure that box is working and tuned.
Regards.
Ginko.

You can't connect your TV direct to the dish. It needs to be connected to a sky decoder to be used.
If you've got Freeview built in to your TV you'll need to have an external aerial fitted if one isn't already their.
Is their an external aerial and I'l look into the setup procedure for tuning the TV.

David.
Are you using the same output from the LNB on your sky dish?
ie one cable??.
If you are it will not work you need to use a seperate output,
if you cant do this, you will need to change the LNB to a multi output one.
By the way there is 30 volts present all the time from your receiver to your LNB, that is even while switched off.
