Every time I put in www.gmail.com, advertisements come up. I just want to check my GMAIL!

I need to get into my gmail account!! I keep getting advertisements, etc. Come on, what happened? when I put in www.gmail.com all these ads come up. I don't want any. I want my e-mail.

First, Gmail is free, it's advertising supported. If you don't want ANY ads, you have to use another email service. Google makes money from the ads in Gmail allowing it to be free to you. In addition, you might have downloaded some advertising software that's compounding the issue. Without more information it's impossible to tell what ads are bothering you, the Google ads of some other software.

Hi,
perform a browser reset by going into: tools - internet options - advanced - reset.

2. remove all the tool bars from add or remove programs.( like google , yahoo tool bars)

Cannot change my email address

Google allows you to sign in via one account at a time. So if you have 2 or more Gmail accounts, you need to sign OUT from one before signing IN to the other.

To sign OUT from Gmail, go to the upper right corner of the page, click on the silhouette/photo, then click "Sign out". See also:

After you have signed OUT from one Gmail account, you can then sign IN for the other account.
