Usually on the bottom left or right of your camera, without knowing the model it's hard to say exactly. You will typically see a multiple vertical lines an arrow and the words open showing which way you should push. It will pop open a latch where you can see the battery.

REPLACE BATTERY ON t70

The T70 uses two AA batteries. They don't have to be lithiums; alkalines and rechargeable NiCd/NiMHs will work just as well.
The batteries go inside the grip on the right side of the camera, under the lid on the bottom. Push the latch toward the center of the camera and the lid will flip up. Follow the illustrated instructions beginning on page 8 of the manual.

My dc 3400 does not maintain memory when I change the batteries and I have to reset the date each time. Is the a back up battery within the camera that I can change?

That camera is around 10 years old.
I don't think it has a backup battery it is a small capacitor mounted on the motherboard.
If you're very fast you may be able to change the batteries before the faulty capacitor drains but I doubt it.
Capacitors wear out over time, short of taking it apart finding it and replacing it I can think of no solution. If it is a SMT cap (surface mounted with no wires) this may be incredibly difficult.

Buy really good high capacity batteries so you don't have to change them as often.

It's only a 10 year old 2.3 megapixle camera, you really deserve better and Kodak still makes fine cameras. That camera has done it's duty.
For $60 you can get a camera 10 times better than that one.

you'll find a lot of laptops have inaccessible bios batteries. Yes the cmos battery does look like a nickel sized one. I think the battery is located under the largest cover plate on the base of the laptop in this case, so it may not be too difficult getting to it.

A word of caution, this laptop came with a power on password, which will want inputting if you change the battery ( called a bios pass), if you do not have this, you might find you are locked out of the laptop OS)

hah im sorry to say this but it is a case of poor design to find the battery you must strip the computer down a bit the battery is located under the keyboard and palm rest on the mother board. the battery is flat and is in a round socket it shouldn't be hard to spot it once your there, here's an image of what it should look like http://blackman.amicofigo.com/gallery/index.php/Arduino/i2c-Items/rtc-battery .

I need the user guide for my Vivicam 8340 digital camera, since I want to install an SD card on it but I don't know how to do it. Thank you, in advance!

The user guide is not available online as a download. However installing an SD card is usually pretty simple. On this camera, the SD card slot is on the bottom inside the compartment where the battery is housed. Simply slide the door open, and locate the slot for the memory card. The memory card should only go in one way, so don't try to force it. If it doesn't fit fairly easily try turning the card around. Remember: the gold pins on the card go into the camera!

Batteries upside down

if the camera is under warranty send it to the service centre they will fix for free, if don´t u will need to replace a fuse inside, but it´s a pretty small one, and very hard to change as well to find in a electronics store.
