If it is similar to the Pnavi device currently offered on ebay as a Trucker 7" then you can restore the path to the maps by clicking on the NavPath icon and in the lower box find the ResidentFlash by clicking on the icon at the right hand end of the box. This will find the relevant folder, click on the icon and keep doing so until you come to a .exe file - mine was Igo.exe
recent worldwide changes in radar technology means that detector technology is not always capable at detecting these mobile cameras, The only way to keep up to date with the newer technology is to constantly keep updating your radar detector. The only issue is they only have to make small changes to the cameras and the new technology won't work.
First put your navi program in the sd card, say directory igo8/igo.exe Next go to settings in the main menu and find the navi startup path. Point in to the SDcard\igo\igo8.exe. That's it!
If you haven't already fixed this; try going into, settings, navsetup, - this should give a Path of navigation software line, this line should read: '\StorageCard\iGO8\iGO8.exe' click on file icon at end of the path window "select storage card, select iGO8.exe, select tick to apply then exit.
This works for mine but I assume that if an alternative software is shown in the path window you must choose an approppriate .exe file in the storage card files.
