Were do i find the reversing switch on the fiat ducato 15 jtd

Please have the battery tested by a representative at a local car parts store to see if it needs to be replaced. Also, please double-check the quality of the alternator that you replaced a while back. Looking at a few reviews could be helpful in determining the quality of your alternator. Because if it's not working properly, then your vehicle's battery could have been drained passed a point of "no return".

No there isnt one as such ,there are some big 80 amp fuses near the battery but a spacific altenator fuse there isnt

Not sure I see a question, but based on my many years of experience with Fiat repair I am not surprised.

take another cap off and read the size
what you are doing is a short cut to costly repairs as a spun bearing usually requires a new con rod as well as bearings

have you had the injector spray pattern checked ? i would advise getting that done and then work backwards from a known good component, also have you had the OBD codes read as these should help pinpoint the sensor/switch etc at fault , actually do thes ethe other way round OBD first , keep me posted if you wish

the FSM covers the tests, ever heard of the FSM. (buy it at the dealer)

strange that it should start with a jump ,i would be looking at the battery to make sure not a dead cell in it

u got a faulty wire somewhere probaly and if i were u id get rid of it and buy a american made car.
