Flexsteel electric recliner positioned itself in full reclined position and is now stuck there. Help!

The Human Touch PC-075 recliner does not have a stop setting to limit the amount of recline. However, you may be able to adjust the recline tension by using the adjustment knob located under the seat. This will control the ease with which the chair reclines and returns to the upright position.
Adding a mechanical stop to the recline mechanism is not recommended, as it may interfere with the chair's operation and potentially damage the mechanism. It's best to adjust the tension as needed using the adjustment knob.

The seat isn't electric for recline? There are known issues with seats. If it is a manually operated seat, I would remove it and look underneath. It sounds like a broken spring or loose connection to a linkage.

Hi. Thanks for your question. Check all the fuses first and then look under the seat to see if something has stuck in the track assembly. You might find that the wire connectors have disconnected from the seat switch somehow. Check the mechanism for the recline.You will have to remove the seat

return the seat to store for warranty

It sounds like the inside of the recliner knob is stripped out. If you go to your local GM dealership and give them your VIN number they can order you a new one. Here is the removal and installation directions.
Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement Removal Procedure

1. Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the plastic center cap from the center of the recliner handle.
   
   
2. Pull the recliner handle off the shaft.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the recliner handle on the recliner shaft.
   
   
2. Push the recliner handle firmly onto the recliner shaft until fully seated.
3. Install the plastic center cap into the center of the recliner handle.

in on Wed only, around 5:30 after the service bays close
& one service writer hangs out until that person fixes a
couple vehicles seat issues

Because that switch is broken and stuck in the recline mode.

The seat position is changed through the use of a cable that runs through a flexible tunnel, under the seat. In one case that I'm aware of, this cable got stuck around a projecting seat spring under the seat. When the seat was reclined and moved backward or forward, the cable caught on the seat spring and the seat had insufficient slack in the cable to release from the reclined position.

On the back of the the seat back is a plastic tab connecting two lanyards/cords. These cords are used to adjust the seatback angle from the recline to full up-right position.
