Reset? As in re-install the laptop? Difficult to say exactly if your computer has a recovery image. Try to press F8 repeatedly when you switch the laptop on, then choose repair my computer. You may see a recovery option alongside other things such as command prompt etc

You can use the Fn+F3/F4 Function Keys to control the volume.
To increase the Volume, press Fn+F4 and then press Up or Right, or Keep pressig Fn+F4.
To decrease the volume, press Fn+F3 and then press Down or left, or Keep pressing Fn+F3.
