"Fender" what? For all this says, it could be a car fender. FMC, Fender Music Corp.'s website lists serial numbers for guitars and amps. Doing a Google search also reveals other listings for guitars' serial numbers, but I've never looked for amp numbers.

but I can't find any refernce to a Fender serial number starting with "CGF...", or a serial number with 7 digits...there should be 6 or less numbers...mind you, I am not familiar with how the newer Chinese manufactured instruments are numbered.
