You cant
its most likely that the lcd drivers attached to the lcd is shot , its because lots of these tvs have no cooling fans so the solders become brittle. or some one hits the front of the screen an it will damage them.
its a trick to fix them if its even possible
other wise the video board has gone south from some capacitor thats dried is 2nd choice.
id not wast the money fixing it because your guess would be wrong most likely.

try to go to the factory reset and see if that helps. If not, you can then check your connection. if you use component (red, green and blue for video and red and white for audio), make sure all the color matches when you plug it in. if everything have been checked then you need to replace the main board and it should correct the problem.

SOURCE: 42" LCD tv shows picture on only half of the screen, other half dark!

The T-Con board (otherwise known as LVDS) connects to two seperste parts of the LCD panel. If you do have half a picture (left or right) replacing the T-Con board should resolve this issue. Open your TV, find the part number and search on eBay or at sites like www.flattvparts.co.uk where you can search by TV model number.

SOURCE: Blurry picture when hooked up to direct tv.Why?

First, determine if your set top box issue by your TV provider is HD capable. Then make sure you have at least a component connection between the TV and set top box, HDMI is the best. On top of all that, you must be viewing a HD channel which doesn't always provide content in HD 100% of the time.
If all of these are in place you should have a sharp, HD picture that rivals the BluRay movies.
NOTE: Not all providers are the same. There are different levels of compression used to send you the HD feed and this may also be a cause of "blurry" images.

Element HDMI 32 inch. Left half showing picture, right half only showing vertical rainbow lines.

One of 2 things happened here. Either your T-con board is defective and needs changed, or your Panel is defective and you need a new TV.

Blue shadow

No. I would suspect it being a Optical Block issue. I is not a pretty repair not to mention the cost factor. If you could get in touch with Hitachi Customer Service they could lead you to s service facility that could comfirm what I think.

40 inch lcd blue line vertical

The display screen is made of a matrix of elements connected to cables along the side and top. On your unit, some of these many, tiny connections are making contact intermittantly thus losing the elements in that area. These contacts are held in place with just pressure and if that is disturbed, you lose that line of elements. Try squeezing the cabinet of the TV on the outside at the top in the area of the loss and see if that makes a difference. May have to go inside and see if the contact assembly is disturbed or warped or something.
Hope ya fix it!
