PK2229 blower stop working

Light and fan are two separate functions in your hood. The fan gets very greasy from the cooking. The grease doesn't act as a lubricant but as dirt. Remove the fan from the unit and check to see if the shaft is wiggling,or if it is seized. At this point you may need to replace motor. If it turns somewhat put a few drops of oil at the shaft, both ends if possible, and spin the fan by hand until it's loose. Replace back into hood and see what happens. Many times the bearings in these fans go dry and will not spin. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

The fan in my has not stopped working in a few weeks now.what can I do to make it stop blowing air

test this steps and fix it. God bless you

1. No power to the range hood
Make sure there's power getting to the range hood. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket (unless the hood is hard wired) for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in.

2. Fan switch
If your range hood only has a fan and no light or any other features, it won't start with a broken fan switch. Replace the switch if found defective.

3. Fan motor
If your range hood only has a fan and no light or any other features, it won't start with a broken fan motor. Replace the motor if found defective.

I have a fan forced chef classic wall oven and the fan has stopped working....why ould this have happened/

Hi,

There has several reasons the fan could have stopped working:
-It is possible the fan wiring/connections have become loose or unplugged
-It is possible that the fan motor has worn out or become jammed over time due to debris
-If you recently cleaned your oven, the fan could have stopped working if it came into contact with any caustic oven cleaner.

Hope this helps.

Jenn-Air JXT8030ADS kitchen hood has stopped working

Although there was still power going to the hood, my husband decided to try flipping the breaker. This must have reset something in the fan as it is now working.

Range master 50000 exhaust fan stopped working

Extremely likely the fan motor.  get to it then , after removing fan blade, plug it in directly to a 110v  outlet ,just for a second to see if it works well( don;t touch it while prefoming this test, only the plug), or jumper out the switch(with electric disconnected) momentairly to see if the fan runs after turning the electric back on.
