I went to Simplicity's website and downloaded the manual for free. Hope this helps.

    I have a friend who is after this manual as well. I did manage to get the "Lets Get Strated" pdf but the other 2 are no longer available. Any chance of still having these?

    Correction followed the breadcrumbs and located it elsewhere on this site. Now all I have to do is pray that this is the right one as she lacked telling me the model number!!!

I need to know how to oil a simplicity serger-easy lock-with differential feed
I have a Simplicity serger SL880 that was my mothers. She past away about 8 years ago. I was trying to use it but appears the motor may be locked up that moves the feed dogs. Is there a place to oil it? If so where? Thank you.

Mine was destroyed in the floods a few weeks ago and I found a download and printable one at simplicityhomecare.com click on the download tab and select manuals and then under sergers chose your model. Good luck with your project.

My simplicity serger SW432 wont cut
There are 2 blades, a fixed cutter and a moving cutter. The moving cutter should move approx 1/8" at it's lowest point past the fixed cutter. There should also be some pressure between the cutters

Mine is a simplicity 804 easy lock
Your knives may be blunt and need sharpening or replacement.

Check also if the knives are aligned properly. Remove the material and turn the handwheel slowly. The knives should pass each over like a pair of scissors and there should not be any cap between the blades.

If everything seems to be okay and it still does noet cut tne material, replacement is the only option.
