I have a 180 degree Defiant Outdoor Motion Security Light. It was working fine for 2 weeks, but now it stays on all the time. I've tried toggling it to Test and then back to 1 Minute and no change.

There is a 'Dusk to Dawn' mode in these lights in which it will turn on continuously for 6 hours once it senses dusk, and then go back to the automated sensing mode for the rest of the night. This is triggered by turning power on and off twice within three seconds. See the manual here (

putting the switches on test bypasses all the sensors leaving the light on all the time the test selection is only there to see if the light is working

Did you find out why?? I just purchased 2 of these and loved them as they worked for like a week and now both are not working however they are getting power as the red light comes on when there is motion...Please help if you know as I paid 110.00 each for these and I am confused how the bulbs could be blown?
