What does "Learning" mean to me under the topic of Aspire One Netbook? "Learning" means that an Aspire One Netbook with 1.66GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive is way under powered to run Windows 7 that it originally came with. "Learning" for me is that after I dual partitioned the hard drive on my Aspire One that the Microsoft 7 became faster at 90 GB space, and the Linux Kubuntu 11 runs well.

What does the LAN do on the modem

There are two halves to a router. The internet (WAN) side a local network (LAN) side.

The term WAN means Wide Area Network and generally refers to the internet.

The term LAN means Local Area Network. That would be for the computers that are in your office or home.

The LAN connects your computer to your printers or to other computers.

I hope that answers your question!

Hello,
There is a law of Thermodynamics which, translated in simple terms, states that you cannot get something for nothing. Thre is no free lunch.
If you want to get an A in statistics you have to deserve it. That means be present physically and mentally present in class; take notes; read the notes; do the homework; ask questions, read around the subject in your everyday life.
Now it is up to you.
