Lexmark c534n printer, warning for depleted color units do not go away after replacement

The supply counter must be reset manually after a photoconductor unit is replaced. Here's an article on How to Reset the Photo Conductor (PC) Page Count After Photo Conductor Unit Replacement on C52x and C53x Series Printers. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/dk8nHs. The error says photo conductor is bad

If you have that error on the display, you need to replace the photoconductor kit. Here's the link to the Lexmark website to guide you on how to replace the photoconductor kit: http://bit.ly/bNhXQ2. Take note of step #9 on how to reset the photoconductor counter. Hope this helps.

Reset pcu correctly

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. It means that the photoconductor unit is not set correctly. You’ll need to reset the black or color PCU correctly. Match the green arrow at the tip of the photo conductor unit to the rail inside the printer. Make sure the green arrow fits securely on the rail before proceeding to the next step. If you do not attach the green arrow of the photo conductor unit securely to the rail, you may damage the photo conductor unit. Push the front of the photo conductor unit slowly, sliding the unit on the cover and into the machine until it stops.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Paper jams

there are two parts to the copy of this machine, one is the photo conductor (drum, green cylinder ***'y) and the toner which fits in the drum ***'y.
you replaced the drum but you need to replace the toner as well (low toner)
then turn off and hold the start key an dturn on to get into service mode, scroll to reset photo count, select.

SC 441

Hi there the following is the description from the service manual hope this helps you Thanks J

441 PCU (CMY) motor error
The drive motor of the CMY
PCU is not locked.
• Defective gear
• Voltage between pins 2 and 14 (CN12 on engine
control board) abnormal (not +24V), or pin 12
(CN12 on engine control board) unable to send
motor clock
• Defective CMY PCU drive motor
1. Replace the CMY PCU.
2. Replace the engine control board.
3. Replace the main drive unit assembly.

I would try replacing the CMY PCU (Drums (Photo Conductor Units) first before any of the others.

Thanks J
