If the fan is not working, it could be the fan itself, or it could be missing the voltage to drive it. I wouldn't use the amp with this condition, as you may cause output failure. Sounds like a voltage or amp draw issue. So how about if you only try to run the blower??

Check for broken wires, Or if that is not the problem fan could be burnt out. Also check if there is a separate fuse for the fan.

I'd check the control switch first, and the wireing and connections.

I have a GE JES831WB 001 microwave that I'd love to fix. The light, clock & timer are working, but that's all - no fan nor heating. Any suggestions?

The door switches are often a problem, one or two are probably defective which would cause the symptoms that you are describing.

The compass and cruise control first started to work only intermittently and now dont work at all. Now the fan for the heating and air cond also stopped working

Look for a fuse for the Cruise Control and compass.
Also, the fan for the heating and air conditioning usually wears out (brushes get worn out) and possibly requires a relay as well to make it work reliably.
I don't think the two conditions Cruise Control vs. the Ventilation Fan are related.

My 1998 ford taurus overheats when idling but cools down when you drive what should I do?

Check your your radiator cooling fan should come on at about 220 deg. and off at about 210 deg. at idle with a/c off, if it stats to over heat turn a/c on, fan should come on right away, if it dont check voltage at fan motor, if you do have voltage, you have a bad radiator fan motor, more then likely the reason it don't over heat while driving is air is being push through radiator where it cool's the coolant before it goes back into the engine, at stop's no air running through and never cool's coolant .

Hi there, 1st of all ilike to know that is your laptop working or not? if its working & only fan is not working then, remove the back cover in your laptop, then remove the fan .Dont forget to disconnect the fan first from motherboard. After that replace it with new fan. Thanks& waiting for your feedback.

check the wires near the locations of all work performed. a wire maybe disconnected

Some times a breaker can be partially tripped and not visible . You should try turning the breaker off and on several times.

always unplug electricity before attempting to repair on any electrical appliance
