Tap the power button to wake it up. You may also press the volume button to wake the phone. Then you should be able to hide and show the keyboard.

Click the upper button on the left side of the top flap of the phone, hold it down, and wait for the message signaling that it's off.

SOURCE: Phone won't turn back on

No. There are some sellers on ebay which sell you a kit to clean up water damage on your cell or BB, but it's super hard to do without breaking the device. Even with instructions, it requires you take everything apart etc.. And its like $40-50 for the kit.

Sometimes you get lucky and up to 3 weeks later the device will dry out and work, and I've had some work the next day.. but only about 33% of the time do they come back at all...

SOURCE: motorola has a freakin black screen!!!!

It's to do with the battery connection... clean the metal contact with something dry, like a cotton bud..then put the battery back in firmly, and make sure the cover is clicked back correctly...

Alltel Motorola Q Won't turn on

Hi mine did the same thing yesterday and when i called technical support they said to take the phone to any retail store for a replacement as this is a known issue that they are having right now. we looked at 7 stores but no one had any so i called technical support back and the tech told me to take the battery out for 5 mins and then put it back in once it is in hold down the silver center button and just wait till the screen says MASTER RESET select reset and just wait till it finishs the process it will show windows mobile screen then go black, once it goes black TAP the power button it should work fine then but if you still have problems then you must take the phone and get it swapped out. hope this helps,,,,,,,,,,,HAPPY NEW YEAR,,,,,,,,,,,,

Screen blacked out, need to download to sims card.

Use Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) to backup your phone to a computer. You can reload to a new phone if you have to go that route. From what your describing you just need to replace the flex cable.
