I received my apple 4 phone which I had at work and which was given to me when I retired by my office signing a form and turning the phone over to me with my account. It' asking for Apple password which is my old office password and now won't work and need to reset it

1. Turn on your iPhone (in my case it would only get as far as displaying the Apple logo
2. Hold the power and home buttons down (the iPhone will power off after 10 seconds, but keep holding those buttons down)
3. After the iPhone powers off, release the power button (but keep holding the home button down)
4. After a couple more seconds, you should hear that magical “ding dong” that means the iPhone is coming back alive, and that Windows has detected it. You may even see a little “New hardware” popup in Windows. It is now safe to release the home button, and your iPhone is in DFU mode.
5. Now iTunes will see it as a DFU’ed iPhone and should ask you to automatically restore its firmware.
6. iTunes has to download the new firmware, and it takes a while, so go make a sandwich.
7.jailbreak your iphone and unlock.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.u try this

try going into the settings on your iphone. Then go to sounds. At the top of that page, it says vibrate and under it it says ring. Make sure that the slider next to the ring tap is on not off. I hope this helps!

How do i create apple id and password for my macbook pro?
1. Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.

2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Sign In. Then click Create New Apple ID

3.Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy.

4.Complete the form to create your new Apple ID. The email address you provide will be your new Apple ID. The form also includes security questions for your protection, and asks for an optional rescue email address. We recommend providing a rescue email address.

5.After you've filled out the form, click Continue.
If you see a message that says that the email address you entered is already associated with an Apple ID, follow these instructions to use an existing Apple ID instead.

6.Enter your credit card and billing information, then click Continue. We'll charge you only when you make a purchase. You can change or remove your payment details later.

7.Check your email for a verification email from Apple and follow the steps to verify your email address.
After you verify your email address, you can sign in to the iTunes Store and other Apple services such as iCloud with your new Apple ID.

How do I change apple id on I phone 4

  1. Sign out of iCloud, the iTunes Store, App Store, FaceTime, Find My Friends, Find My iPhone, and iMessage on each device that uses your current Apple ID for these services.
  1. Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
  1. Select "Manage your Apple ID" and sign in. Forgot your password?
  1. Select Edit next to "Apple ID and Primary Email Address."

Charger is not working properly
Clean the connectors with rubbing alcohol or electrical cleaner. If the cable if frayed, get a new one form the Apple Store. Apple OEM cables are much better than aftermarket ones in my experience.

called the Mac Store these are the directions given to me by Apple:
1. Check to see if you have the ipod on hold, if so take it off hold and see if it will cut on. If this does not wrk continue to the directions 2-4
2. Press the top arrow and the circle, hold it until you see the apple sign, when you see this sign. This will not harm any of the items on the ipod. It normally takes up to 6-10 seconds for he apple icon to come on.
3. Once the icon comes up, you can charge it as you would normally.
If this does not work your best bet is to contact the Apple Store, as I did and speak with a technician over the phone, they are great and know what they are talking about. GoodlLuck Ipoders
