Why does red light keeps flashing on dolce gusto mini me ?

Red light keeps flashing and no drink doming out ?

    Red light mean error is this auto if yes you have problems in the gaers at the top were you select the product you have tryed to left the handle before the flashing lights stopped try and press the power bottom until it starts flashing green and run some water only for test if the left and right works then you have problems in the heating

    Turn on, unplug from mains, plug in again after a few seconds, turn on, after a few seconds w/o be green again.

In my case it was a minor detail: The capsule holder tray has a small magnet on the top right side, you can feel a light pull when you are inserting it in the machine. This magnet became dislodged from the capsule holder, and the machine won't operate and will give you a continuous blinking red light if the magnet is not in place; I found it when emptying a small bin where I put the used capsules. You just have to put it back in place with two drops of glue, or if you can't find it, just order a new capsule holder.

The picture shows the underside of the capsule holder and the magnet next to the slot it came from.

    No dolce gusto works with out the capsule holder the megnit holds at the back inside and behind the metal there is a sensor no contact no coffee

    Thanks for taking the time to post this! Had the exact same problem, went through various things offered on the internet, but fortunately came across your post! When I told my girlfriend about it she helpfully said "oh yeah ... this bit fell off the other day, didn't know what it was, so I put it aside somewhere". The moment I saw it I knew I'd struck gold. We actually spent more time searching for the damn thing than the actual fix. A blob of superglue and the magnet's snug as a bug in a rug!

    Thanks. This led to the solution of my problem. Bad contact between the magnet and the sensor due to rust or debris build up.

Like all dolce gusto mini me has safty inside if evry thihg works but water doesnt come or no noise coming from the pump then this can lead you to pump safty blown capsule holder sensor that need replaceing the last thing but needs looking at is the pcb only on manual mini me is semmy auto sow this is good j

To solve you oregne light problem you must do this press power bottom for few seconds to make it flashing Orange this means that the machine is now in descaleing mode then do the descaleing product be sure you use dolce gusto descaleing only after you done reset power bottom this should solve the problem.that was a working for descaleing

Green light will not come on. red light continues flashing

I have experience in Dolce Gusto melody 3. I think that means that the machine warms up the heater. If it continues giving red flasher, i expect that no electricity reaches to the heater or there is something wrong with the heater sensor. In my machine there is Triac (BTB08-600CW) that drives the heater. Please check and show us what is happen.

Dolce gusto kp2100 won't stay on

in the machine there is small circuit board that control the machine so they programmed that circuit to preheat the heating element for about 30s if this failed the red light flashes two tims then stops so you have to change the circuit board
